App description: Only $0.99 for a limited time!! This is a word game you'll come back to time and time again!

iWordz is an addictive word game similiar to Hangman but with a twist. In iWordz, you have to guess words from their definitions one letter at a time.

You begin with 20 "life points" and you have to guess as many words as you can before your life points run out. You lose 1 life point each time you guess a letter wrong and you get life points back when you get a word right.
- You get 3 life points if you guess a word right without getting any letters wrong. This is called a "PERFECT".
- You get 2 life points if you guess a word right by getting only 1-2 letters wrong.
- Otherwise you get 1 life point back

iWordz is great for a quick brain tease when you have a few minutes. It's also fun to play with friends and family!

Another bonus is that it's great for expanding and refreshing your vocabulary - learn new words each time you play!

* More than 12,000 unique words - endless fun!
* Automatic game saving. Continue right where you left off.
* Challenge yourself and your friends! Submit highscores to the online leaderboards.
* Unlock OpenFeint achievements.
* It's educational! Learn new words, refresh your vocabulary.

Have fun and sharpen your mind at the same time with iWordz!

Thanks for the code! I've played quite a bit so far - and have obtained all achievements. I just accidentally just hit the "new game", and my score (I was on 51) didn't register or update to OpenFeint, but I did keep the achievements. Maybe there is a way to update the score as you go? I am not sure if I'll go through it again right now, as I was able to increase the available "life points" quite often and never quite felt I would run out.

The gameplay itself is very good, though I definitely think an additional game mode or two is really needed. Perhaps a timed version. Maybe a harder version where you don't get so many letters. The controls work well, and I enjoy trying to guess the word based on the definitions, so it's a fun game - just needs to have more gameplay options for me.

Wow, you must be very good then! Or maybe I'm not any good at my own game
We were actually afraid that it would be too hard.

I'd love to hear from others regarding the difficulty and any other ideas/feedback.

Remember that you don't need to play the game through in one go as it automatically saves the state when you exit.

I've noted the problem regarding restarting the game and it not saving the current score. Thanks!

I wanted to echo above thoughts. Very nice game. I have only played for a sort time and am up to 10 for a score. It is very fun to have to think in reverse from the definitions to the words. I agree that some different modes might be nice.

Plays very well. Sometimes I am tempted to go and look it up on another computer, but I have held true so far. Very challenging.
