the description doesn't mention anything about a stick...
I don't get it. It looks more like ship vs strange objects?

I may need a video to wrap my head around what's going on...

It's a sequel. Like Defend your Phone 2 with cartoon doodle graphics if you want.

Many new ideas from the game testers were integrated: It has two completely new weapons and many new enemies. The weapon sell/buy system is all new. No inventory at all and auto upgrading. Way easier now. All parts that did not make fun were removed. The "game workflow" is much smoother and more convenient.

So even if you already own Defend your Phone, this is worth a look.

I hope you really have fun with this one!

I downloaded Doodle Wars: Beat the Stick (one of three lite versions) last week and enjoyed it so much that I bought the full version a couple of days ago when it hit $.99 again. I generally avoid doodle-style games, but I had to make an exception in this case; every element of DW works together to create a really enjoyable experience for me, and I kept hearing that guitar intro that opens the video posted above and wondering when I could pick the game up again and blast some stick men, hopping bunnies, huge red chompy guys, and boingy elephant-thingies... with my baseball and banana guns.

Edit: Oh yeah... there's some tiny red chompy guys, too...

I don't know if it was a secret or some kind of glitch, but I started the game on normal and was trying to figure out how to start it, clicking all over the place. When I finally figured out you just click the text that says start or whatever I noticed I had like 10 million dollars or something like that-enough to buy everything in the store.
