----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys!

Axolot is happy to announce ABOVE, our first game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and share a little
sneak preview of what’s to come. ABOVE has been in development for quite some time now.

Most important for us was to make sure that the game delivers good replay value and quality so we didn’t stress the production. The game is not far from being finished and we are very pleased with how ABOVE has turned out. Our beta testers have made comparisons to games like Canabalt and Doodle Jump.

We’ll be updating this post as often as we can with more screenshots, videos and new info up until the game is released, so keep checking this thread.

UPDATE 19 March 2010

This looks really good. I love the artwork. I hope that jump charging system works well and that the game has powerups like doodle jump.

ABOVE dose not have powerups that you pick up in the game.
But you can say that ours are very similar because some of the special platforms work as powerups when you jump from them.
But who knows, maybe we will add powerups like that later on in a update as well (:

Great news! This is on my list of "blindless" purchasing!
Though I'm pretty convinced, a gameplay video would be great
