Trapdoor presents Young Villain Academy

Hello TouchArcaders,

We are happy to be showing you a couple of gameplay clips for our upcoming rhythm game, Young Villain Academy. The game should be out within the month, stay tuned to this thread for more videos and information in the coming weeks. This is one of the games we have been working on since the release of GI Joyride.

In the world of Young Villain Academy, players take on the role of an unwilling student of a once legendary super villain. To complete their lessons, students must successfully perform in a variety of dangerous trials using rhythm style game mechanics. As they progress through the cinematic levels, the student and world act as the timing indicator for the music. The basis for much of the art, audio and game pay homage to classic 50ís style, but use modern technology and dark humour to give a unique look & feel.

Heck, after GI Joyride I'll buy just about anything that you guys put out. With such simple gameplay, it's the details that count, and you guys got that covered big time.
