New to programming, Where do I need to start?

I would like to start programming for the iPhone and do not really know what I need to start.

I am using a Windows computer (do not have a Mac) if it makes any difference.

iPhone development is limited to Intel Macs running Leopard (10.5.x). So that's where you need to start. Assuming that you're not going to sprint out to your nearest Apple Store tonight, the next best place to start is learning the languages and frameworks behind iPhone Apps. Primarily, Objective-C, Cocoa, C, C++.
