I have the feeling you cannot adjust the cam.
And that there is no horizontal alignment?

If I'm wrong, I would buy it, had a lot of fun with the first one.

You can turn on View Tilt in the options, if that's what you mean by horiz. alignment. Some people prefer it off, some on, so we made it an optional feature.

I can remember when "arcade" racer didn't just mean bad physics model. I'm old though.

Whoaa didn't know this was coming out so suddenly... :P Will wait for impressions before downloading, I kind of lost interest in racing games after NFS Shift (had many more before that too) but this one kind of seems different

I've bought way too many racing games already, but the internet multiplayer might get this one on my shopping list - if someone can confirm it works well enough.

Add me:
Gameloft Live: Elnombre * Plus+: Ceruleus
OpenFeint: Ceruleus * XBox Live: LorenzoDuke

Game Impressions

Quick Initial Impression:

This was a semi-impulse buy. I trust Polarbit, but I had no intention on getting this game as I didn't like the first Raging Thunder. The whole, driving over icons to gain and lose speed I didn't like. Anyway, like the other guy said, this is seems like the game Asphalt 5 should have been. Graphics are crisper. Track design is more attractive and imaginative. Nice blur effects. Very kinetic action going on in the races, lots of jostling, spinning and flipping. Tracks are shorter than Asphalt 5 (I'll keep the comparison going since I started it), so whether that's better or not depends on your preference. Sound seems to be good.

Overall a nice game. I feel better about the Fiver I dropped on this game, then the money I spent on Asphalt 5 (and I like Gameloft!). I won't bother going into whether or not you should get this game if you already have 10 driving games on your idevice already. It seems to be a solid title, and worth 5 bucks.
