Alright, I just played the first few levels and this is exactly the same as TileStorm in terms of gameplay but with a St. Patrick's Day skin, not that that is a bad thing. The layout and level selection menu has a similar style and so do the levels. As you slide the tiles to make a path for yourself, you collect coins as your player moves. There are also extra puzzles in game with an Irish flare to them, but I don't want to give to much away.
If you enjoyed TileStorm, finished it, like sliding block puzzles, and want more, then I would recommend this title. If you are far from finishing TileStorm, you may want to wait on this seeing as the gameplay is the same. But if you haven't picked up TileStorm yet and like this theme, I would give it a shot! |

well thanks for the review!! I have looked at OpenFeint and I see that you have played one level and took 7 seconds! So this is the worlds fastest review.
Anyway I would like to clarify that the gameplay is _not_ exactly the same as TileStorm. There are some new features in that there are now coins to collect, and secondly there are additional (and optional) separate puzzles. In addition to this there are very few 'sticky' tile puzzles this time, and they are optional as well, as there is an easy mode option available in the options menu. It is a shame for some people that there are less sticky tile puzzles, as these are the ones that was what really set this puzzle apart from many others. That said there are some at the end, and they should be enough to keep hardened TileStorm enthusiasts happy. As for waiting, well I see no reason to, it is only $1.99. Less than a cup of coffee in Starbucks, but I guarantee it will keep you entertained for much longer. Last edited by acakebread; 03-11-2010 at 10:05 AM.. |

Insta-buy for me. I loved Tilestorm and have been replaying in anticipation of this release.
I am sure it will be fantastic! |

@acakebread:
I said I was going to leave my impressions actually, not a review. And I did say that you have to collect coins and there are different puzzles to do. I clearly stated that I did not want to give to much away. I don't know if you noticed, but I was actually complimenting the game and recommending it. Everyone has there own opinion, and those were my first impressions, not a review. Sorry for the confusion

Thanks for the impressions. You stated that you would leave some impressions (which you did) so I am not sure what the review comment was about. While waiting for your impressions, I realized this is like tilestorm, a game I had never played. I tried the lite and thought it was good but not my type of game. |

ok well apart from hearing from people that don't especially want to play Eggbot's Irish Adventure (and I understand that it might not be everyones cup of tea), I wonder if anyone that likes puzzle games has any comments? I spent a long time making this game, so it would be nice to hear from people that enjoy seeing Eggbot in his continuing adventures..
