That depends on the story. and if you like stories. some people just don't like learning about backgrounds, the story, a plot.. they just want to break stuff. Which is fine, but not what RPGs are all about.. not in the traditional sense at least
The thing is backgrounds,story,lore
etc are things that are conspicuously missing from Aralon. I forced myself to finish Aralon ...I don't regret buying the game but the game world wasn't fleshed out and felt souless.
Hopefully Ravensword 2's world will be more fleshed out (not the same as having a lot of 'content', things to do etc) . I am happy that there is going to be a lot of dialogue in the game.
