The thing is backgrounds, story, lore etc are things that are conspicuously missing from Aralon. I forced myself to finish Aralon ...I don't regret buying the game but the game world wasn't fleshed out and felt souless.

Hopefully Ravensword 2's world will be more fleshed out (not the same as having a lot of 'content', things to do etc) . I am happy that there is going to be a lot of dialogue in the game.

In-game awards (special items, perhaps) would be also awesome for achievements.

PS: make a better storyline than in RS1. Being a stranger who wakes up and decides that he will save the king from the great evil isnt the best story you know... It's pretty much same in Aralon.

Lol how could combat not be pure action?

Random person enters the room:

"Hey you. Save the king and I shall give you this cookie!"

Player:

"I like cookies."

Player saves the king.

The game ends.

It certainly is more original than "Oh, the princess was kidnapped... again. Save her, *Sequel* so that she can be kidnapped... again. Save her, *Sequel* (...)"

See the dialog part is usually the one making RPGs boring. I like a good story, but with RPGs set in medieval time or god knows what made-up time are always boring to me. But as I said, the combat looks really good!

Well that's why I'm not an RPG fan. Like I love stories in say, Puzzle Agent or Squids, but I find the traditional RPG stories really dull and boring.
