Killer Pool Lite: released

Hi everyone,

A quick post to let you know that Killer Pool Lite went live this morning, it's not filtered through to all the stores (US included) yet, but here's the itunes link...

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301096853

You can play US 9-Ball against one of the computer players. Hopefully it gives a good idea of the physics, controls and game playability, while being enjoyable as a game in its own right. Here's a screenshot...

Cheers,

Morgan

Good stuff - I have the full version already and like it a lot

any chance of Snooker?

International Snooker is already great - but the AI opponets are a bit weird with easy shots missed and crazy thin cut-ins out of tricky snookers

just remember ... not hitting the rail with shot should never be a foul in UK! Would still be playing Killer a lot more if that rule had filtered through

hoping you do go ahead with snooker app based on Killer's superb phycics and believable AI ...

uk rules

To memon -

glad you like the physics, and the game in general.

Re: having to hit the cushion on each shot in the uk game - We went for the English Pool Associations version of Eight Ball, which seem the most official, and it was specified as a rule (Rule G1b ). It suprised us too, when making it!

see http://www.epa.org.uk

cheers

Hmm - yeah remember you saying it was based on official rules - just that nobody seems to know that particular rule in pubs where I've played it

good job I didn't play in any tournaments here!

cheers for the info

Now in US store

Sorry for the delay but Killer Pool Lite is now in the US and other stores. Due to a "clerical error" it was somehow only released in the UK and Germany! Ooops.

enjoy.

I have both full versions, Killer Pool and Virtual Pool.

Both are amazing pool games, but i do end up playing Killer Pool more often due to graphics and controls.

If you haven't tried Killer Pool yet, try it out, its great.
