Stonewall Jackson would be mortified

I was kind of skeptical at first, but this game is actually kind of fun. It's very smooth, and for some reason it feels very slick, too.

The one problem I have is that I don't see a strategy in trying to move your soldier piece down to the glowing square. To me, so far, it seems to be very luck-based, but maybe that's just because I haven't been playing long enough? I can't get past the first level, and I've played it more than 5 times already.

But still a very slick little game, at least to me

There is definitely luck involved but there is definitely some strategy as well. Are you turning your device? When you do, you control the direction from which blocks fall and you can then control in what direction you want your soldier to move.

On later levels obstacles will leave empty spots you must turn your device to fill in, but you can turn your device anytime you want to change the direction of the blocks.

Wow I feel stupid. I wasn't moving my device at all. Forgot about that little tidbit

Well damn, now I really love this game. I'm not really a match-three kind of guy, but this one actually feels fresh enough with that little feature that it's really fun, and feels very different from your average match-three puzzler.

Now that I know I can control what direction my soldier square can go, the game feels much less luck-based than I originally though

For some reason, the video isn't working for me. So is this a match-3 game?
