Developers will likely work on both. Right now there is a much better chance of someone seeing your game on the iPad than the iPhone. I know our game came out on the day when Apple released 1400 apps of which 300 were games. Hard to get noticed in a monsoon like that ipad is a second chance for us smaller devs who didn't get in on the iPhone gold rush..... at least we hope it is!

I hope they come out with a Final Fantasy 4 on the iPad, that would be killer.

seeing ipad test on some of those, it makes me wonder if plants vs zombies and worms are actually going to be released or was it just to populate the store for testing

PopCap aren't going to be letting Apple use a fictitious product of their for testing, trust me.

It is curious though that Firemint says they are "working on Real racing HD", whereas it is already listed in the ipad app store. Notably, it dropped off (or appeared on) the "top paid revenue" list between #22, #23 postings above.

I still can't say much about this, but you may have seen some posts about this so I thought I'd drop in and give the official word: yes, we are working on Real Racing HD for iPad, and yes, it will be awesome

Hopefully more details soon!

I don't know how the hell they're getting the appstore to show up in the simulator, it doesn't work in Spotlight, and clicking on an appstore link in Safari does nothing.

I know that my fave game, Orbital is coming to the iPad as they said so on their Facebook page, but it's not on the upcoming games list yet.

I can't wait til Saturday. The iPad just brings so many possibilities for games. I noticed that Boggle is on the game list. As a fan (and almost impossible to beat) I can see the iPad being large enough for a group to play around a table and write down words the old fashioned way - with a pen and paper. There should be a mode for this with a built in timer. I guess we could play it like that either way, just resetting the board.

I also have seen that Gameprom is bringing "The Pinball" with their 3 tables (Wild West, The Deep and the Jungle Style) in one app. I love that idea. Has anyone heard if Cowboy Rodeo is bringing Pinball Dreams/Pinball Fantasies to the larger format? That would be perfect.
