I think this must have been one of the first games I bought back when they had only the 1st Gen iPod Touch and every time I've updated my device (now a 3GS), it's been the very first game I've put on - even if I've had not time to restore all the other games. I think it's a very enjoyable form of, how to say... 3-D column tetris, if that makes sense? However it's seen, for me at least, it's played daily.
It's a very simple game in that it doesn't bombard you with dozens of power-ups or special blocks, but sometimes a game is best played that way. Visually very clean and the game-play interface keeps you focused on the action itself. It has built in global scoreboards - daily and overall - (not OF/Plus/etc...) so, in that way, it just does one thing - shows where you are in relation to other players around the world. Sometimes it's best that way,
simple.
Controls are v.simple... swipe left, swipe right and swipe down - and I've never had a problem with them - I've not seen anybody else comment on problems that commonly plague games like this. So, from this point of view, you're good to go.
I wouldn't have any hesitation in buying it - at $0.99 -
simply a steal and I don't see how any real puzzle fiend could not have it on their iDevice. I haven't played the lite version so I don't know how it differs, but I would say if evenly vaguely enjoyed the lite, you'll like the full version much much more.
Hope that helps, and that you enjoy it - I do!
