1 2 3 Sheep! Beautiful learning game released. PM for CODES!!

Hi everyone,

We have just released 1 2 3 Sheep! - an educational game targeting early learners... but it's good fun for all ages.

It would be great if people could have a look and give us any feedback. We are aiming to build quality games to educate and engage students at home and in the classroom.

I have some more promocodes to give away. Please PM me as I will be following you up for some feedback on the app!

Here's the press release:

1 2 3 Sheep! is a bold new demonstration of the learning potential of the iPhone, created by a partnership of eLearning specialists and professional game developers.

"The simple and inviting touch screen and the take-it-anywhere factor makes the iPhone (and iPod touch and iPad) such a natural fit for early learners" says Wil Monte, Director of Melbourne-based App-titude Learning. "Then add an online assessment system using the device's wireless connectivity and you've got something very powerful."

In 1 2 3 Sheep! players explore counting concepts in three fun activities - flying a helicopter around the farm, herding sheep into pens and guiding the sheepdog into the ute. The game difficulty automatically adapts to match their progress, with content taken straight from the school curriculum. Kids are drawn in by friendly, detailed graphics, playful audio and lots of humorous encouragement.

1 2 3 Sheep! is a standalone game, but it's also designed for classroom use with the innovative App-titude assessment system. Teachers can instantly see and track their students' progress online via the iPod's automatic wireless updates - no matter where they are.

"If learning can become play, why should it stop when kids leave class?" says John Sloan, of App-titude Learning.

"During in-school testing most kids were reluctant to stop playing after an hour" says Cecilie Murray, Director of App-titude Learning. "And we're talking 6 and 7-year-olds, so that's pretty impressive."

App-titude software is based on constructivist learning principles that promote deep thinking - not simply skills development. It is produced in consultation with teachers and tested in the live classroom environment.

Thanks guys - I really hope you like it.

Ah nuts. I'll get some more and post them tomorrow. Check back soon.

Those who do get the codes - it would be brilliant if you could post some feedback here. We are really looking to create high quality educational games (not 'throw away after one use deals') so any suggestions, comments or praise would be much appreciated!

Has anyone checked out the trailer?
