** Update: Giant Moto is now available on the App Store! **

** Update: Added preview video **

** Update: Giant Moto has been submitted to Apple. New screenshots! **

Hello touchArcade! I'm the designer over at Rocket 5 Project and I'm very excited to announce that our upcoming motocross arcade racing game Giant Moto has been submitted to the App Store for review and will be live on the app store any day now!

Giant Moto is an arcade-style motocross game similar to games like Excitebike and Joe Danger!

    Features:
6 different tracks with more coming in future updates! 4 cycle/rider colors to choose from. Challenging AI opponents with 3 difficulty settings (easy, normal, hard) means fun for all ages! Realistic physics engine, killer graphics and motocross sounds.

Turn, gas and boost using on-screen controls. Wheelies and air control with tilt/accelerometer.

Here's the first preview video for Giant Moto! Sorry for the shaky camera work. :) And the framerate is way better than it appears in this vid.

    ** New screenshots! **

Certainly grabbed my attention. There's only one such game I know of on the AppStore it's Red Bull X-Fighters, and I played that ALOT. this game will almost definitely get my cash. :) Any plans for Open Feint, Crystal or the sort?

    initial thoughts and ideas off the top of my head;
    -weather effects?
-tricks and points for earning nitro boost?
-power ups like Mario kart ish?

I like the simplicity of the controls but a big part of excite bike was the wheelies right? and adjusting the tilt of the bike? the contol scheme you have in the screenshots doesn't look like it compensates for this gameplay mechanic....

Thanks for the feedback! To answer a couple of the questions so far:

cubytes, for sure you can do wheelies (lean forward/back) by tilting the device left/right!!!

rich, we're planning to add Open Feint but I've been looking into some of the other services as well (our other game uses Agon). Open Feint seems to be the most popular and I find myself playing OF games more than others. Any thoughts on who's the best?

Looks good, Open Feint have really gathered pace in the last couple of months and seem to be the people of choice currently.

If you need any beta-testers, don't be shy in getting in touch :D
