Tennis is a game that requires skill (and maybe some luck!). The basic concept of Tennis is very much like the actual sport, tennis. You must hit the ball to the opposing player (the computer) and then they must try to hit it back to you. This continues until one of the players misses the ball.

We've also added additional game modes to the game as of v1.5. These game modes are 2 player Tennis, where to people can battle it out to be the Tennis Champion, and 'Against-A-Wall', where you try to hit as many balls as possible, with only 5 lives.

Think your ready to play?

Alex Blundell's comments:
A new version of the relatively new app "Tennis" has been released (28th March 2010).

Original v1 Description: Tennis is a game that requires skill (and maybe some luck!). The basic concept of Tennis is very much like the actual sport, tennis. You must hit the ball to the opposing player (the computer) and then they must try to hit it back to you. This continues until one of the players misses the ball.

v1.5 Additions:
- 2 Player Support!
- Added Game Modes
- Improved UI
- Improved Graphics/Artwork
- Minor Bug Fixes
- Winner/Loser Alerts

Further improvements are currently being added, such as Audio, more bug fixes, more game modes, and much more.

If you have any suggestions (additional game modes etc), they would be highly appreciated.

No offense, but this looks like a glorified version of pong.

For an example of a really good Tennis game for the iphone, go see Gameloft's 'Real Tennis'. There are a few others as well.

Actually, there aren't any good tennis games on the iDevice yet. Real Tennis sucked.

Well, it's a big leap from "It wasn't that great" to "Real tennis sucked."

What do you want to hear? "It's the best game in the world"?

As I was saying before, Real Tennis was really good.

You should look at that game. That's tennis.

This is pong with a tennis ball.

Can you tell us something about the game that proves me dead wrong?
