Arcade Maniak

New game using 9 of Puzzle Maniaks games in a new arcade theme. I think that means there are stages now instead of infinite puzzles.

Broke down and bought it!

The levels are still randomized (meaning infinite levels, YAY!) you just have to beat certain times to unlock the next difficulty. Music is soothing/ambient and the graphics are nice and crisp!

A must have for puzzle fans at the current sale price of $.99 and would still be at the normal price of $2.99.

Get it!

Good enough for me, a new puzzler for the collection. It's apparent there is enough polish, plus with 9 games, 10 soundtracks, and 6 difficulty levels, you can't really go wrong. Thanks zztfox. ^ ^

I wonder if Untangle will replace The Plateau for me entirely.

Web Designer & Developer since 1999.

Games I highly recommend: CozyQuest, Gemmed, Jabeh, Blue Defense, Blue Attack, geoDefense, Hospital Havoc

Just trying to spread the word, that's all!

I am really pleased with this version of PuzzleManiak due to the fact that it makes the game feel much more like full featured game verses the kind of bland feel of the original (no offense).

It's a great game.

Well in PuzzleManiak I was never so much into posting my online times and competing with others. I just liked solving puzzles on my own time and doing harder and harder levels. Ok so arcademaniak comes out with some cool graphics and now it's kinda like achievement based. Initially the times were insane for me but now I can see if you do it again and again and again you'll eventually get bronze (to advance to next difficulty level). So honestly I didn't really like it at first but it does really make you think on your toes.

I could not resist. This is a great game. Fixes all the problems that puzzle maniak had and looks truly proffesional.

Can someone please explain:
ArcadeManiak does not include the daily/whatsoever challanges of PuzzleManiak, correct?

I've tried the lite and liked the looks.

What other differences (except the missing 11 games) are there between the two?

Well arcademaniak took away the requirement to pass first level to get to 2nd level. It was insane unless you were whiz at so and so level. Graphics are one main difference but Puzzlemaniak has update a few with refreshed graphics.

Arcademaniak has like 9 puzzles for those who like time challenges
Puzzlemaniak has like 15 puzzles who want plethora of options.

Both have an infinite amount of puzzles as they're generated on-the-fly.

ArcadeManiak is very cool but I only played it for a few days. PuzzleManiak is by far the best game on the iphone. The online leaderboards, player challenges, simpler, easier to see, higher contrast graphics and of course all of the extra games are all reasons i've not been back to ArcadeManiak.
