Nova has always looked good on iPhone, but I've been put off buying it as I'm not a fan of FPS games on the iPhone's little screen.
But I've just watched this video which shows some footage of the iPad version and I'm really excited. For me the main issue with the on-screen analog stick setup used by most FPS's was that on iPhone it took up too much space and restricted view of the gameplay, but that hardly seems to be a problem on iPad ![]() Is anyone else as excited about FPS's on iPad as me? The graphics look really good, but it is going to be one of the hardest games to control on the iPad, I hope some third party controller comes out for the iPad.

you can move the controls anywhere on the screen, and you're naturally gonna wanna wrap your thumbs around the screen, this game is going to be very easy to control, it's moronic to think it's gonna be awkward.

Man the Border on that thing is too thick lol, they could make the screen 2 inches bigger by getting rid of it.

FPS touch controls suck no matter the size of the device. That is the issue with this game.

They need to use the camera on the Iphone to register movement for the camera in the game.
(obviously you can't do that for the Ipad version) |

Have you ever played a console or PC shooter? Touch controls for an FPS are trash compared to a controller or mouse and keyboard. |

Yeh but Touch screen controls are trash for pretty much everything that isn't a God game or an RTS lol. Apple need to allow third party cases that have buttons on them and a flash for the cam. I don't see why they don't allow people to make their device better.

I find touch controls to be great! (Yes I have played lots of PC shooters, and Xbox 360 shooters). The controls may take a little getting used to for some people but I find that they work great.
