iPad keyboard gaming?

So... since the iPad supports a keyboard dock and Bluetooth keyboards, will we be able to utilize the physical buttons? I know there still isn't a mouse but a lot of games, like the C64 emulator, could benefit.

The Bluetooth keyboard would work better IMO because you could use it any orientation.

So?

I could see this working, however you have to buy the keyboard to be able to play the game, meaning that devs will be limiting their audience.

This will detract a lot of developers.

Yes, but I don't think developers will be bothered to create a whole new control scheme for only a minority of people who will actually own this keyboard.

You mean the keyboard for the computer. I don't think that is compatible.

but if it catches on they will. question is, are there any devs willing to try this out. i could see it being useful for games like IMO(upcoming mmo for iphone) if it has an HD version.

It's a shame that Apple isn't making a mouse for the iPad.
If you had a mouse and a keyboard then you could play FPS games with PC controls.
But then again, I guess that defeats the whole object of it being a portable device.
