App description: Zen Bound 2 is the sensational sequel to the most critically acclaimed iPhone game ever.

Features & Improvements on the original:
* More beauty, over 100 levels, new gameplay modes with paint bombs
* 45-minute soundtrack from 'Ghost Monkey'
* Universal App: scales perfectly to devices running iOS 4.3 or newer (iPhone 3GS and up)
* Retina Display and Gyro sensor support
* Beautiful graphics (fancy shaders, realistic lighting)
* Game Center achievements

Zen Bound 2 is a meditative puzzle game of wrapping rope around wooden sculptures. It is a tactile game, with a focus on making rope, wood and stone look and feel real and believable. The dusty and soothing atmosphere is a combination of beautiful visuals and a unique down-tempo soundtrack.

All levels from the original Zen Bound are included, all with visual upgrades, some with new gameplay. New levels include the Tree of Tribute, featuring guest stars from independently developed iPhone games.

Macworld - iPhone Game of the Year

Meh. Didn't really like Zen Bound for the iPhone, and this looks exactly the same as the first one, so I'll pass.

No, no. We added explosions.
(not kidding)

Zen Bound 2 has three different game modes, first being the classic rope-winding from ZB1. The new paint bombs add a new variation to the theme, with some levels having paint bombs attached to the object itself (as seen in the iTunes screenshot with yellow dots on the red cubic object) or paint bombs on the rope (as seen in the teddybear photo).

The new variations change the gameplay to be more streamlined in case of object bombs, or to be more resource-management oriented with rope boms.

We didn't want to make just a version with just upgraded graphics, our goal was to make a game we would be confident to call a sequel. That's why this is Zen Bound 2 and not Zen Bound HD.

If you don't like Zen Bound, you don't like video games.
