Am I right to assume that even with the recorded playback issues and unliklihood of an update, folks feel this is a decent purchase, especially at $1.99? I take it that Sam & Max does improve after a full shutdown, like most complained about "it doesn't work!" games....

Got to love the reboot button. Solves many ills!

I know this is a stupid thing to complain about but what happens to the icon once its on the device?

It's a great game.

Reboot before playing this game every time, the framerate drops will be very minimal once you do.

Um... not sure. Can it damage your device if the game freezes and gets stuck on the screen for like 5 minutes before the idevice restarts itself (cuz you pressed all the buttons of course)?

The game itself seems like fun but it froze on me right after the credits (even though I rebooted my device) and then even hitting the home button didn't do anything. I didn't save and it sent me right back to the middle of the 5 minutes worth that I did get to play through. As soon as you get past this small amount of gameplay/tutorial, it shows you the credits and then I guess the real game begins. But I never made it there cuz it froze during the credits and reset my half of my progress. I don't like seeing my device freeze and am annoyed to find my progress reset so I'm going to hold off for playing for a bit. I know the chances for an update are low so I'm not really sure what to do with the game.
