Yeah...I'm also holding out for a sale as I also have the iPhone version. I suspect, we'll have a long wait since LASW HD got a lot of "love" from Apple via the "app of the week" highlight.

I have patience.

There's currently a sale for non usa, 2.39€.

But I wonder if it really worth it. The iphone demo didn't work well at all and crash fast. And I wonder if the iPad screen is really big enough to make pleasant such games, my feeling from the iphone demo you could zoom out is that you don't get a view large enough of the map.

I also bought the game a while ago when it also had a sale and it was very disappointing. After playing LASW, this looks and feels like amateur hour. I wouldn't give this $0,99!

I don't like at all classical RTS and don't buy any since decades, well since Warcraft 2 (or it was the 3 not sure). So LASW isn't an option for me and CCRA is the first classical RTS I try since age.

But not sure that even the amateur approach of CCRA will be ok for me. The feeling is much better than with the iphone version, better interface organization, larger view. But well still RTS I probably won't like and RTS won't work well, ever, on a such small screen like the iPad, except if a very different approach is used than the approach used on PC.

I don't get why these rts games for iPad don't just have a fake mouse pointer you control away from it like on bottom part of screen so your fingers wouldn't get in way of action and it would feel like controls on pc.
