Hated it on the iPhone. Hit detection simply did not match up with the beat of the music, which is Rule Number 1 of beat-matching games. Great idea, totally unplayable.

I see this as only logical explanation as well. Unless your OS is <3.x, hit detection is perfect and tested on all iPhone and iPod devices. Did you download the updated version ?
