I prefer Enjoy Sudoku. It has everything a Sudokuplayer needs.

Mastersoft SuDoku - Winner 2008 is pretty good too.

You should try out the new game CruX - great game for Sudoku lovers:

It should be a standard feature that you can turn on/off in-game music and sound effects separately in all games

Astraware Sudoku is the best Sudoku I've ever played and all of the Sudoku games I've tried on the iPhone pale in comparison to it.

Unfortunately, there is no iPhone version of it

Edit: WAT?! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/astraware-sudoku/id293647966?mt=8

I've always liked Enjoy Sudoku best, I just like the GUI (plain, but functional). If you don't play more than a game or three a day you can get by with the free version quite easily! Though it's currently overpriced compared to the other sudoku games out there.

Any serious sudoku player should also give Str8ts a try, if you haven't before! It's same... but different.

Thanks for your kind words. Astraware Sudoku is a universal app so works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. In fact we've just released a new update today which adds a notepad overlay feature to all versions.

Say, how come the full version of Str8ts isn't currently available on the US appstore, I wonder?
