Tiny Dot

Hi guys,

this is Markus from Windmill Apps. Some of you might know my kids games, some more might know my infamous iSpider app (hrm). While in real life we are about to finish up Space Master 2 (incl. some great feedback we got from forum members), today everybody is focused on the Game Jam.

I always felt intrigued to see what a game that starts with the tiniest element, a single dot, would look like.

So when we got the theme "tiny", this idea came back and pairing it with the need to stay extremely simplistic so one can do a prototype in a few hours, this is what I'm starting with:

The tiny Black Dot is hungry.

Feed the tiny Black Dot, so it can grow.
Watch out for the big Red Dot!

hope to get something like a slow realtime play going where you have to place the food strategically to feed the small dot while escaping the big.

for this one I used keynote to draft some very early level design, here is a super early (and simplistic) look

Sounds like snake without boundaries I'm goin to guess you're going to use tilt movements?
