Mike Berg from We Heart Games (Face Race) and Owen Goss from Streaming Colour Studios (Monkeys in Space) are teaming up to create the best game of the game jam: Atomz!
We'll be posting some artwork as soon as we've got something to show you. Stay tuned for more exciting details! Owen & Mike |

While Mike builds us some awesome spinning atom animations, I thought I'd take a minute to try to explain the game.
Atoms float around a play area, each one with a valence value associated with it (e.g. -2, +1, +4). Dragging an atom from one to the other creates a chemical bond between the two, if they can work together. Build up big molecules for big points and score a molecule once all the atoms are happy (their values have been reduced to 0). Here's a really early screenshot showing the first artwork in the game: ![]() Owen & Mike |

Will you signify he charge with a visible number or will you make it challenging and make the player count *evil grin*

Maybe color code each one, that way not too easy but not that hard considering if you can remeber what is what

Or make it bonus points for same color combos? Just an idea but i do think that doing something with color would be good.
