Tiny Grave

After much debating over game ideas dealing with the theme of "Tiny", we have come up with "Tiny Grave" a match 3 involving body parts dumped into an open grave. We'll see how it goes.

It would be amusing to get bonuses based on certain configurations of body parts. Ultimate bonus if the parts lined up in the shape of a body

Here is a screenshot. We have some tiles on the screen. No matching logic yet. Now for the hard parts.

The Game Jam was a fun experience! We didn't get to implement the matching logic that night. We got to a point where we have the blocks drawn to the screen in a random order to start out the round. Music is playing. No block swapping yet.

We plan to complete the game over the next few weeks. I have some different ideas on the match 3 logic that will hopefully test out to be fun.

Thanks to the organizers of the Game Jam, and we will post the progress of the game here if anyone wants to follow along.

Nice Idea I must say and also I like the concept of the body part. I think you should arrange the bonus or extra power of the body when the player win more then some criteria. So the player get some motivation also by this.

I have been doing a lot of work on Tiny Grave. It needs more graphical polish, but I have most of the game mechanics working. Here is some video of the game play. You have a limited amount of free moves, and you build up power-ups in the form of alchemist's fire and acid. When finished it will have a story mode, timed, and endless modes. Will also run in native resolution on the ipad.

Updated Graphics

I am still working on the graphics. Not happy with the look just yet. I am dropping the block look in favor of a hand drawn style. Actually makes it a little harder to play.
