App description: The iPad port of the classic 1987 dungeon crawler, NetHack, based on version 3.4.3.

geoelectric's comments:

I'm liking it quite a bit so far. It's -much- easier to use than the iPhone/iPod versions, and quite attractive on the big screen. Love the free price, too.

I'm a little unsure why it has so many anonymous low ratings. I haven't run into any problems yet. How do others like it?

I agree - it's free, it's nethack and it fits perfectly at home on iPad. That gets as much attention on my ipad as the games with a price tag do.

I enjoy this game far more than Sword of Fargoal. However, it has a nasty crash bug that I can't seem to reproduce with any regularity.

Regardless, I agree; it's a great game, and unjustifiably ignored.

It would be nice if they could implement a swipe to move feature similar to Sword of Fargoal. Otherwise really enjoying it and powder on my iphone as well!

Dirk's iPhone Nethack version is fantastic. If I had an iPad, I'd be grabbing this instantly.

I love Dirk's Nethack and Slash'em ports for the iPhone. I just picked up this for my new iPad. Dirk is a prince.
