Game Impressions

Some first impressions:

I've played through the first 9 levels, and I'm having a great time. Artwork is very nice (although it wouldn't hurt to make it a higher resolution), however the realistic 3D-esque ball does not really fit in with the enviroment. There are 4 different worlds of 10 stages each. There are normal levels where you must get from start to finish and bonus levels where you must collect all the stars. You do not have lives rather there is a time limit for each level. From what I've seen the time limits are very gracious and I have never been in danger of not completing a level. Yellow stars add half a second to your time while blue stars add 5 seconds while falling off the edge subtracts 10 seconds. The challenging part comes from the trophies awarded at the end of the level based on your time. You can either get gold, silver, or bronze. This game would best be described as Labyrinth as a platformer. You can touch anywhere except the pause button on the screen to jump. The longer you hold your finger on the screen the bigger the jump. You can jump over gaps in your path or over small blockades. There are some walls that you cannot jump over however. Also there are purple buttons that you can roll on top of and do a full power jump that will create a fake crack on your screen and trigger something to happen (like making a moving platform come to you or shrinking your ball.). The levels usually take 2-5 minutes apiece. For 1.99 the content seems to be pretty good and the trophies will add some replay value. However the lack of online scoreboards and tilt calibration may make some angry (you must hold your phone parrellel to the floor). Controls work exactly as you would expect them to, effective and precise. The game has a lot of charm, great artwork, and is very fun and if you enjoy labyrinth or platformers and are on the fence I reccommend you give it a go.

You guys are quick! Beat us to the punch (developer here . Glad to hear you like it! We put a lot of work into it, especially fine tuning the feel of the controls.

Regarding the leader boards and calibration option, these are on the top of our list for an update! We actually have some exciting news on that front, but I'm not allowed to tell you just yet .

The time limits are fairly lenient to make it accessible to more casual gamers. Getting gold should be tough though, and I have plans to make another level of achievement corresponding to my personal best times =D.

Grab it while it's hot!
