Review: Star Daze HD iPad

I just purchased Star Daze HD for the iPad, and it is my opinion that this is one of the most addictive and engrossing puzzler games there are in the app store. Actually, it truly is the most addictive game I've played for the iPad yet!

Ever since I've arrived home, I have played this game over and over, trying to get more Star Bucks, and trying to get all the medals that there are available to unlock!

Graphics 4.5/5

The graphics in this game are perfect for this type of puzzler. They aren't gaudy or excessive, but rather perfect for the title as you don't want overly glittery graphics to distract from the intense gameplay.

They remind me of the type of graphics that should be in a puzzler. Simple, nice, attractive, and not overdone.

Sound 5/5

The sounds are great too! I don't find the music to be overwhelming, and love the sound effects. They are perfect for this puzzler.

You also have the option to turn the sound effects and music on and off if you prefer to have either disabled! Sometimes it is my preference to have just the sound effects on instead of the music, but the music isn't bad at all!

Handling 5/5

This is what makes this game very special. The controls and handling are tweaked very well to the gameplay. It feels very easy and intuitive to control the ball as you collect the stars on the iPad. I never feel "Cheated" during the game, and if I lose, it is because I need to go back again... and again to replay each level to get more stars and star bucks!

Fun 5/5

Fun Factor is the most important aspect of any game. You can have nice graphics and sounds, but without the fun, it doesn't amount to anything, and I can tell you with the upmost confidence, that this is one of the most fun puzzlers I have played in awhile, next to when I first played Bust-A-Move or Tetris.

It has that addictive Puzzler sort of appeal that the big guns like Tetris and Bust-A-Move had. You know it when you can't stop playing it, and an addictive puzzler like that only comes along once in a decade.

The Fun Factor is an absolute 5 PLUS Stars. I literally keep thinking about wanting to go back and play this game so I can unlock every medal, Beat all my High Scores, and shop for more goodies!

You can even go into your Stats and see how many times you've tapped the screen, total stars collected, and tap to star ratio! Amazing amount of stats to look at for a puzzler!

All in all, I'd recommend this game to anyone! Gamers and Non-Gamers!

This game is so much deeper, and so much more addictive than you could ever imagine it to be! Just give it a shot and you will be very pleased.

I feel this game is well worth a 4.99 asking price, so at .99 cents, it's a complete no brainer purchase!

Already mentioned above. This game is only .99 cents! It is well worth it's asking price, and I personally think it's a crime that they only charged .99 cents for this game.

Of all the iPad games I have in my library, and I can tell you that I have many, there are a handful that I would keep for a long time, and this is a definite keeper.
