Hardbattle's comments:
Just downloaded this and am a bit dissapointed - it really does look just upscaled -the menus look terrible. Even turorial pages show illustrate the controls with an iPad picture... The frame rate isn't stable either, as it drops frames when you corner. Lots of pop-up too..

This is the first iPad game I've been dissapointed with...

Wow . . . Thanks for your thoughts. I had recently purchased the iPhone version, and had even enjoyed it "pixel doubled" on the iPad; so, I was considering picking up the HD version. Sounds like I'm better off avoiding it for now.

I own the iphone version but almost bought the ipad version when it dropped to $2.99. Sometimes it is really hard to tell what games are really better on the ipad and what games are just quick cash ins.
