well dual shptguns plays differently. got a few games out opf me last night, and intend on continuing a bit more tonight.
im happy with the update tbh, and this is from a state of apathy prior to the update.

My biggest issue with the game is that 2 of the Game Center achievements are for purchasing characters. You have to pay $2 for 2 achievements. That should never be allowed by apple.

Other then that the game is fun and hopefully more maps are coming.

I think with more and more dual-stick shooters that have some depth (Revolt, Shrapnel, Gun Bros., etc.), Minigore is becoming less and less relevant.

I still think it's one of the smoothest playing in the genre, but once another game captures that feeling along with more story, upgrades, maps, etc., say goodbye to Minigore.

Minigore has a special humor and art style which none of those you mentioned achive, they go in a complete different direction. So of course Minigore is still relevant

It all depends on your perspective. I just picked up this game a couple of days ago, and I find it to be fresh, fun, and a little exciting. I read most of this thread over the weekend though (yeah I'm a total freakin moron), and I see that's it's been a pretty rocky road for those who jumped in at the beginning.

Minigore hasn't been relevant in a long time. Gun Bros and Revolt both easily outclass this game by a long shot, especially Gun Bros. With Gun Bros introducing the ability to EARN war bucks, you will no longer HAVE to buy IAP for the higher end gear. Face it, with all the new great games coming out, Minigore is not as cool as it once seemed to be.

Default Nice and easy

I love the theme of this game and the fact that is more of a light hearted shooter. I really don't like the superserious shooters. Never been my kind of thing. This is more like a brainless just go out and shoot game.

Perfect way to waste some time whenever you've got like 5 spare minutes.
