Make a Donkey Kong puzzle clone devs!

Somebody needs to make a Mario vs Donkey Kong clone. Best puzzle game ever.

My idea is that instead of directional buttons for movement that require you to take your thumb off "Right" and place it down to go "Up", simply use the wheel that iDracula does, so that you simply slide to the direction you want to go. Add a couple action buttons to the other side of the screen and give users the option to swap them if necessary.

E.g. of the wheel I'm talking about..

This would be great, no?

I agree that would be awesome! Unfortunately, I am not a developer.

Still, we could pitch ideas!

What devs do you think are up to a game like this?

Well I don't mean copy all the game levels and redrawn Mario wearing a cowboy hat or something like that, I mean create a puzzle game with switches, ladders, ice, wind, moving enemies, etc of the complexity seen in the Donkey Kong games.

It's are a lot slower paced than average platformers so it would be suited to the iphone's touch screen.
