So...what happened to him? Were the events all real? Did he get screwed over by the drugs? What happened at the end? Did he 'reset' again? Why did it show him going to the lighthouse at the end?
He thinks he's a monster because he let his wife fall prey to her insanity, never having believed her when she told him that she had something going on with her brain. He thinks he could have stopped everything. However, does that mean he really was Andrew and not Ted? Wiki time. |

“Which would be worse, to live as a monster, or die as a good man?” When he poses this question, it applies to himself. Would it be better to live as a monster (one that kills his wife) or dies a good man (in his fantasy). He knew he was Andrew, and he made the choice of lobotomizing himself and rejecting reality. |

After reading the wiki and your post, I got it. Thanks. Definitely some interesting stuff. Not the resolution I had hoped for, but it's a good movie all the same.

Tarentino made Kill Bill 1, Kill Bill 2, Inglourious Bastards, Resovoir Dogs, and Pulp Fiction that were A grade. Nolan had 3. I consider Tarentino better because he may have directed the same amount of movies, but more that stand out. Listen, the first Harry Potter movie was released in 2001. That would make the kid 14-15ish most likely, and it was just weird to hear about someone growing up with Harry Potter. Usually, you hear Jaws, or Toy Story. I guess pretty soon we will be hearing about someone growing up with the Transformers movies. |

Kill Bill vol. 2 was like a long fart. Crude, unecessary and way too drawn-out. I'm not too keen on Inglourious Basterds either... I kinda like it but at times it feels too much like Tarantino is trying to parody his own directing style.

Cars 2 was a disappointment. It felt way too much like a cash-in movie, and Pixar made no effort to even slightly cover up the incredibly cheesy plotline. Visuals were great, naturally, but the story felt "B"-grade at best. After the phenomenal sequel that Toy Story 3 was, this felt like a total let-down.

Oh man, I hated Toy Story 3 as well. Guess it's not worth me going to see Cars 2.
Edit: Hate's too strong a word, I felt like Toy Story's time had come and gone. I'm far more excited by new Pixar projects these days. |
