App description: WATCHING VIDEOS ON OUR SITE: http://lemicosoft.com

This game features a unique gameplay included 63 different levels. In the game you will collect the image using the shape (similar to that used in tetris), which are limited to moving only one axis. Playing in Quadraticus you will be a serious mental work and you spend a lot of time trying to collect a puzzle.

To pass each stage you need to reconstruct the given puzzle image using the provided pieces. You can always see the image using HINT.

Each piece can only move vertically or horizontally, and this is shown in the upper left and right squares of the board while you are touching a piece.

The board can be rotated by using the buttons in the lower left and right or with the accelerometer.

It should be a standard feature that you can turn on/off in-game music and sound effects separately in all games

We will plan regular updates which will increase the number of levels. But it is quite difficult puzzle and you need a lot of time to collect all 42 puzzle. Try to collect them until.

Game Impressions

If you like puzzlers then you should really consider Quadraticus. I've been playing it for a bit tonite and I really like it.

The premise is that you're shown a colored pattern of wooden blocks and your goal is to recreate that pattern using variously shaped blocks. Each of the blocks can only be moved in one direction - either horizontally or vertically and they can't be rotated. The first few puzzles are definitely easy and you'll have to do is slide blocks into place in the right order; however, things quickly get more complicated from there. Subsequent puzzles force you to place some pieces and then rotate the game board and then place others. You have to visualize how the pattern on the board should look but from different orientations which was really challenging to me.

You have an option to turn on a Hint which just entails ghosting the image of the pattern on the board so you can remember what it is. I would have been totally lost without this and I'm definitely glad it's there.

The game includes OpenFeint for online leaderboards and achievements. Also, each puzzle has a par times to solve it and you can earn gold, silver, and bronze ribbons if you can meet them.

The game's music is a nice relaxing zen tune and fits in well with the overall theme.

Overall, I definitely recommend it if you like puzzlers.

Things I didn't like:
-On the Main Menu screen there is an icon that looks like a downward pointing arrow. It is not obvious at all, but pressing this icon exits the app and sends you to the Lemicosoft website. I would like there to be a prompt that you have to press to acknowledge that continuing will exit the app.
-The initial directions are really not that clearly written. I would recommend restating them as:

"To pass each stage you need to reconstruct the given puzzle image using the provided pieces. You can always see the image using HINT.

Each piece can only move vertically or horizontally, and this is shown in the upper left and right squares of the board while you are touching a piece.

The board can be rotated by using the buttons in the lower left and right or with the accelerometer."

Oh good a light, I'll give this a spin.
Nice review DG! Maybe I'll just go ahead and buy it.

edit: is this new for itunes? When I went to purchase I had to click an age-restricted warning.
