App description: APP OF THE WEEK - JUNE 2010

READ THIS:
The Package is optimized to run on newer devices (iPhone 4, iPhone 3Gs and iPod Touch 3rd gen). The game will run on older devices, but with reduced performance. For optimal performance and a fun gaming experience a 3rd generation device or higher is recommended.

The Package is a fun and entertaining physics puzzle game with amazing 3D graphics.

You influence the character (a package) by placing out springs, ramps fans, etc. You have a timer and can experiment as much as you want until you get the package through the maze-like room, past hazards, and into the green zone. You also get bonuses if you manage to pick up golden packages along the way.

The Package has 20 beautiful levels with increasing difficulty.

Oh my - that is beautiful. And I'm such a sucker for physics games. Not picking it up right now, but it's going to the top of my future purchases list. Will get it next time I mark a few off the list.

That is quite beautiful. 20 levels seems quite short though. Any word on whether more levels are forthcoming? Pretty graphics only go so far.

Wow that does look great... I can't even remember a psp game that looked THAT good... is there a video? (Jeez the photos pretty much sell the game itself...)

The website says that a video is "coming soon." Picked it up and made it through the tutorial so far. Will try to post detailed impressions later today, but so far the graphics are great, the physics seem accurate, and the Rube-Goldberg-device gameplay promises to be a lot of fun. I should note that even though the graphics are 3D, the play area is actually 2.5D (or at least it is so far).

Also the thread title should be changed. It works just fine on my 2nd gen ipod. Only in the tutorial so far but highly impressed.

This is one for the want list. The graphics are incredible, I'd like to know more about the gameplay though. Do you interact with the package? With the environment? Also, how long is the game?
