Good to hear. Although everyone enjoys the game in different ways, I think of using the default weapons as the 'true' challenge of the map, and want to beat the maps using only them. Future map packs expand the challenge for me, not simply buying more powerful weapons.

Conversely, I am for DLC weapons if they are used on specific new maps that feature enemies that require the weapons. For example, an ice map with Yeti-aliens that are only affected by fire weapons. That way I don't feel like I'm cheating when buying the flamethrower, and it adds an extra layer of strategy as you have to balance when to sink money on a flamethrower vs a regular weapon, in much the same way as you balance when to buy antiaircraft / rocket launchers to deal with flying enemies.

Since the latest iPad update came out I'm having issues watching replays - the screen says downloading and jumps right back to the map page. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Second, purchases are carried over from the iPhone versions. Here's the procedure:

1. Install whichever app you used to originally purchase the add-ons, onto your iPad.
2. Go to the options and Restore In App Purchases.
3. Launch TowerMadness HD. Voila! Flamethrower / Marsh Madness are now unlocked for free.
4. You can now delete the iPhone version from your iPad. The purchases should remain unlocked on your iPad forever. If they ever disappear for any reason, repeat these steps.

Limbic would never make you do something so silly as to buy the same thing twice!

First of all let me just say that I love this game. But when I try to do the restore purchases as outlined in the quote above I get a message:

"There was an error restoring your purchases. Check your Internet connection and try again."

I do have an active internet connection, and I only have this issue in the iPhone version and it happens if I try it on both my iPhone and my iPad. Is there something additional that must be done for the restore to work properly?

I have already tried reinstalling the game from a fresh download, and restoring to an older version of the game, both to no avail.

Is this related to the removal of the Limbic Vault in v1.10?
