App description: Chocobo Panic!? What's that?

Catch and hold the various colorful chocobos moving around your screen until you are told to Let go!

GamePlay:

Catch the chocobos specified as they move about the field.
Once you're holding a certain number of chocobos, you must release one of them.
When it's time to release a chocobo, Let go! will appear in the window and an effect will show around the chocobo to release.
If you release the wrong chocobo, it will count as a mistake.

In 1 Player & Co-Op, mode, use up to six fingers to catch chocobos one after another and aim for the High Score.
In 2 Player mode, use one iPad and compete against each other until someone makes a mistake. If you release your hand too soon, you'll lose.

GAME FEATURES:

- Co-op Mode

- Highscore

I might grab it but it seems a little pricy for what seems to be offered.

This is from Square Enix so might give this a spin soon. From the screenshots looks like a simple game though. But I'm glad SE is utilizing the multiple touch capability (six fingers for this one).

Where's our Chaos Rings for iPad.

Current Vice: GoF2HD, Bastion, PvZ, Dead Space iPad, FFDim, FFIV, WoGoo, Solomon's Keep, Hook Champ

Okay I picked this up and played a few games. Overall, I like the game and my kids love it. It is basically twister with your fingers. Graphics are cute and the game is polished.

The game tells you what color Chocobo to pick up (touch and hold). Once you are holding three it will high light one to be released and then it will instruct you on what color to pick next. Since the Chocobos move around there is some strategy in what one to pick since you will not know what color will be released. Your fingers can end up in some odd places if you are unlucky.

Three modes of difficulty and each has a different start number for Chocobos. They say that up to six players can play because that is the number of touch points. There is also a two player vs mode.

If you like Square and or Chocobos, this is decent for the price.

Maybe you're kind of baseing that off the fact that Square Enix is usually making RPGs. I can't imagine that this game would be shit coming from these guys either.

Upcoming Games: CJS2, Racing Apex, High Strangeness, Dino Run, Super Feed Me, Mimeo and the Kleptopus King, Loot, Run Run Dash, Pogo Rampage, Burrito Bison, Star Saver, Pocket Cars, Rock Rider, THEM, Prince of Europa, Epic Dive, One Tap Hero
