can't argue with that, but are you gonna play thru all the levels? or just keep it in your idevice, and after a while, delete it.

Controls are pretty odd.
2 buttons on the left control horizontal movement
2 buttons on the right control up and down
tap anywhere else for the Action button

I've never played any other PoP game (seriously) but I have no idea what is going on or what I'm supposed to do... a manual or instructions would be amazing.

EDIT: O also wanted to point out you can pick any level you want to start at right from the beginning (in case there are veterans that want to skip the beginning)

That doesn't make it sound like the original game at all...

Oh yeah, I think everyone's looking after those controls... It would be a shame that a so good game would be unplayable because all the gameplay remains on good controls, especially for this kind of game !

Went ahead and bought it. I love it. Plays just like I remember and its been forever. Kind of agree in I would have rather seen the retro graphics. This was the updated Prince Persia that came out on the Nokia 3300 and other java phones. Controls are fine. I haven't had an issue yet.

EDIT: ok so I can't pull my sword out to fight. Tapping anywhere on the screen doesnt do anything. Anyone know?

Currently playing: Clash of Clans and Boom Beach

I had to stop playing out of sheer frustration.

3 screens in there is an enemy with a sword. The intro shows me fighting with a sword but in game there is no explanation at all. Do I start with a sword? do I find one later? How do you weild it?

I'm also having a problem with the long jumps. Rarely I will run and jump across these gaps but usually I run, stop, and hop down a pit into spikes...

This is a lot like FF1 and FF2 where they port a game to a touch screen but forget to mention how things work in this new never before used interface. The difference is that the FF games were basically slow one button games while PoP is a platformer. Timing means everything and I can't for the life of me figure out how to stay alive
