Future LED Titles?

If you notice, both LED titles have separate websites, http://ledfootball.com and http://ledbasketball.com

By doing a WHOIS lookup, we can see their domain info

http://whois.domaintools.com/ledfootball.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/ledbasketball.com

Now these sites have the same info

http://whois.domaintools.com/ledbaseball.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/ledsoccer.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/ledhockey.com

So it looks like these 3 games could be next in line... I'm personally hoping for baseball next

Great detective work there rootbeersoup! Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I will buy them all afterall. Or at least some of them. I have the football one. Been reading through all of them http://www.handheldmuseum.com/ and it seems most sold for $15 to $20 back in the day so what's a $1. Certainly $20 over 30 years ago was a worth a lot more than today $20 (ok maybe not with crash fiasco who knows).

Which company made this Basketball one they are imitating? It isn't Mattel's Basketball one.

Good detective work there dude. as a kid growing up in the early 80's I remember having a boxing game in almost identical style to these. I love how the dev did the surrounding graphics to give it a real authentic feel.

LOL the detective work wasn't even needed!

From http://ledbasketball.com/led-basketball-press-release/

"Here at touchGrove we want nothing more than to provide our fans with the best in LED gaming. Since the release of LED Football, fans have been begging us for more games. Starting today we are announcing a complete roll-out of all your favorite LED sports games. That means LED Baseball, LED Soccer (yes, you heard that correct - LED Soccer!!!) and even LED Hockey. Are you drooling yet? For you east-coast types, we are even considering LED Lacrosse! (Well, *just* considering it, not actually in development yet. Unless of course you demand it!)

Now, here’s the truly awesome news. We are right now working on a new version of our incredibly popular LED Football! This is not just a sequel, my friends… we are going for the gold! (Code word: “Gold Edition”). This thing is gonna *kill*. 24-karat gold case based on an original prototype. It will have all the great features you’ve been asking for… 2-player switch, passing, goalposts, the ability to move your player backwards and forwards… the list goes on. Oh, and the back alone is gonna be worth the price of admission. As always, everything of course just 99 cents."

So they are also working on a new LED Football as well.... Very cool

Also, this is the basketball version they mimicked:

So, instead of fixing the problems ("features"??) of LED Football, we are going to have to buy a new version and hope that it doesn't have the same "features"? I'm lowering my review of LED Football to one star until they release an update that addresses the problems with it. I posted a comment as such to that web page, but I doubt it will see the light of day as the comments are moderated.

This holds so much nostalgia for me, that I'd buy it 100% if they made it for iPhone:
Grandstand's Astro Wars.

Here's a Video:

suddenly, I'm 8 years old again.

Dude why do you keep on saying this, there are no bugs at all. When it goes crazy, that's game over. Start a new one. And one star? Even if it did have a couple bugs it would still deserve a 4. This is a great game and for only a buck it deserves a 5.

1 star because the game lasts half as long as you think it's supposed to?? That's pretty ridiculous.

Ridiculous or not, I finally heard from the author and was very pleased with his response. In fact he is planning for an update sometime this month to address the issues. That is, the kicking bug and the, as he called, "weird feature" (2nd quarter going crazy.) Not only that but he's sending me an LED Football t-shirt and offered me a free copy of LED Basketball, but I opted to buy it. Needless to say, I'm quite happy.

I also suggested that he join these forums. I hope he does!

I hope baseball is next. That was my favorite. Either way, i will be purchasing all of these titles whether i like em or not. I wanna support this dev. He/she/they rock! I also love the funny descriptions they put with their apps, reminds me of the yesteryear.

And to those that are pissed about there being an upgraded led football with more features, this is because mattel had 2 versions of football, one like the led football we already have, and one with passing, running backwards, etc.
