Wispin is a fast-paced arcade title featuring unique "color-based" gameplay. Use the innovative "Touch Color Wheel" to change the color of Wispin's aura on the fly and gain special immunities and offensive abilities! But beware, your choice of color contains weaknesses as well! Quick thinking will be needed to triumph over a quirky cast of enemy characters, each sporting unique attributes of their own...

Hey guys, we're still working on the first gameplay trailer, but in the meantime we'd like to share some animations and a fun little introduction to some of the characters. Enjoy!

Wispin’s world, colorful and charming as it may be, has a bit of a pest problem. Say hello to:



Now, don’t let the ooey-gooey cuteness fool you: these guys have absolutely no interest in being your BFF. As it turns out, Bloopers are quite determined to ruin your day and they each have their own idea on just how to go about it. They’re a bit single-minded in this regard… someone should really tell them to get a hobby.

You might have noticed that all Bloopers come in three different colors. This little fact has quite a significant effect on Wispin’s core gameplay... but more on that later! For now, let’s take a peek at this handsome lineup:




Size: Teeny tiny
Special Ability: Being too cute to boot
Favorite Thing: Pogs. (Remember Pogs?)

D’aawwww. Look at this little guy... how could the two of you possibly be enemies? Well, you are, and you’re gonna need to get used to it. And fast. If you don’t, a horde of these sneaky little devils will be swarming all over you before you can say: “Wow, this really is the best game I’ve ever played in my whole life!” You can still say that as you’re being all swarmified, though.



Size: Medium
Special Ability: Bloop prides himself in being a Renaissance Man.
Political Affiliation: Middle of the Road

Bloop has a problem with focus. Sometimes Bloop enjoys working on his archery; other times you’ll find him tossin’ the old bomb around. And then, every once and awhile, he likes to explode. Despite his fickleness, you can bet your sweet patootie he's gonna give his all to whatever new pursuit he's undertaking. …that is, until he gets bored and moves on to the next thing. Watch out for the unpredictability of these guys!



Size: Large ‘N In Charge
Special Ability: Fire breath (woah!)
Favorite Turtle: Raphael

This guy is a little angsty. What's his problem, anyway? Whatever it is, you'd better watch out for that fire breath! Speaking of fire breath: it would appear that the fire Blaarg spews is of a different color than Blaarg himself. Pretty good observation, eh?



Size: Looks pretty big to me!
Special Ability: Being really big, probably?
Favorite type of cheese: …He can’t pick just one!

Wow, how mysterious! Whatever this thing is, I wouldn’t want to meet it in a dark alley. Luckily there are no dark alleys in this game, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

In other news: I've been getting asked a lot about how exactly the game plays, and at the moment we're holding back for a little bit longer on those details, but we plan to have a more thorough gameplay-related update soon.

However, I can reveal that the game does give the option for either analogue 'stick' controls OR full tilt controls!
