Going through the tutorial now; It's fully voiced, and the interface is breathtaking.

I'm so glad I saved money specifically for this game.

I feel slightly stupid because I really couldn't wait for this to come to the iPhone. But now that it's out, I kind of realize something... I have no idea what Carcassone is, or if I am even interested in it.

Has anyone ever played this before? It looks really interesting, I'm just having a hard time trying to picture the gameplay. How exactly does creating a "medieval landscape" translate to a board game?

5 bucks for a board game that costs 25-30 online. Plus this has a solitaire mode, an interactive tutorial, online multiplayer with push and ELO ratings, an ipad update coming later, and the expansions coming as IAP later.

It's worth far more and the game is brilliant (though I understand your view if you've never played before)
