You guys said that you increased the graphics? If your gonna label this game HD then you should provide HD quality graphics. not this crappy stuff....please...you can do way better than this. Provide the type of textures and graphics that make playing games on the iPad worthwhile, this is still ipod touch 1g quality..

I'm not gonna buy this unless you guys revamp the graphics, take "Then Infinity Project" for example. They did a huge overhaul and the game is infinitely more times better than the original, you should follow suit.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback

We're sorry that you think our graphics are crappy ... but I guess it is all subjective.

It is labelled as HD because the graphics have been upgraded to HD.
It's not just pixel-doubled.

Plus it is labelled as the Pro version because it includes the expansion pack and the ninja dude and board!

If you already own Crazy Snowboard, you can download the FREE update - turning it into a Universal version! It is upgraded to HD (again not just using the 2x scale button) so the upgraded graphics look heaps better on the iPad!

I own the original game but didn't have it installed anymore. I just downloaded this and had to pay again. So, it is only free if you update?

Crazy Snowboard is the original (and still available on the appstore).
It is now Universal. You have to buy the expansion pack as an in-app purchase.

Crazy Snowboard HD Pro is a different version altogether but it has
the expansion pack included.

So the update to Crazy Snowboard is free but... if you get Crazy Snowboard HD Pro it is a new purchase (but you get the expansion pack included).

I hope this clears things up!

Rippa!

I see that Crazy Snowboard HD Pro is featured in 'New and Noteworthy' in the US iPhone App Store and iPad store - and Staff Fav in the iPad store!

Thanks Apple!

Submitted updates to Crazy Snowboard (2.7.1) and Crazy Snowboard HD Pro (1.0.1). Updates to these universal apps include:

- iOS 4 native
- Multitasking/fast app switching
- Higher resolution board and character textures for the iPhone 4 and iPad

Look out for these updates next week in the app store.

Just realized that this is the 16th free update to Crazy Snowboard!

You can add all that and a kitchen sink, (and sooner or later I think you will) and this game will still be worth zip without the snowboarding itself feeling like...snowboarding. Lucky for you most app store punters don't seem to care though, eh?

Doesn't feel like snowboarding? I guess you didn't follow the instructions properly! For best results, make sure you start the game on your iPhone (or better yet on an iPad) and then strap it to your feet. Find a nice snowy slope and launch yourself down it.

Anyway, this is an arcade game, not a simulation - it's supposed to be fun and not punish you by slamming your head into the ice if you catch an edge.

No, I guess they don't, considering we've had 4 million downloads.

Keep an eye out for the Holiday update that should be out next week. No kitchen sink yet, but we do have the following:

- Game Center:
- 6 leaderboards
- 10 achievements
- Retina Display support
- iOS4.2 compatible
- Fast app switching
- Bonus Santa Suit and board unlocked for the holidays
- Earn 5,000 points everyday you play, just for starting up!
- Increased draw distance for 4th generation devices
- Supports multiple orientations
- Less nagging to upgrade (sorry about that!)
- New scoring mode in Free ride tracks
- New time display
- Tracks your best score for each mission
- New mission select menu
- New 'star' based mission ranking system
- Tweaked difficulty to achieve 3-stars

Download it now and you'll get the free update when it becomes available. App Store Link
