really nice evolution of the creeps ,still one of my fav td game on iOS , but was it necessary to add the huge app info chunk.. ? posting a link, fine but throwing in the hole shebang.. feels inappropriate, no one else does it, and i hope not more start todo it because this would only clutter up this fine thread with unnecessary text walls.

Wow, sorry. I thought I would save some space by letting you scroll through the 5 screenshots from iTunes instead of posting them all and creating a giant wall of pictures that takes forever to load. But I guess even good intentions backfire sometimes... I edited the post and removed the app info.

Default Christmas Mishap

Before(2006) · Flash game.

After(2010) · iPhone & iPad game.

A lot of hard work redesigning everything, creating spritesheets and promo material, but i'm happy with this final version.

Finally chose the theme! Also, decided on landscape instead of portrait. More borrowed art since most of the real art hadn't been made yet.

Lots of art is now done, and it's really starting to look like a real game! Accelerometer based super towers are functional, but using programmer art (woo hoo!). That lightning squiggle is what went on to become the UFO! The game was SOOO close to being done, just a couple more days to work out some tweaks and put in the rest of the art for some towers. No other good tower defense games were on the app store yet... and then Fieldrunners was released. F@!#@!! So yeah, that bit of menu is borrowed from them the day of this screenshot in my anger :P

And here's what it looks like today:
Still one of my favourite TD's ever! Awesome progress that you made Are you planning on having more DLC come out soon?

Scribble Worm! Now out on iPad and Mac, still working on the iPhone and Android versions. I saw the joke about Doodle Jump in the comments of the main page post and thought I could interject a paper game.

The first pic is the original movement test. I just put a few circle sprites along the path of the worm. Overlaps look terrible. In the second pic I've solved the overlap problem and drew an extended outline along the path, looks kinda bland though. The worm heads are also rotating to look in the direction of travel. Third pic I've colored everything in with a lookup into a fullscreen scribble texture so as they move it looks like they are being erased and redrawn.

Prototyping:

Art exploration:

The disco tile background was animated and it'd respond to gameplay... and also give you seizures.

"Final" artwork:

I'm hoping to continue improving artwork in updates

This is from our first release to what our current production looks like:
(I know we are meant to show early dev, but I didnt work on the early dev!)

Feel free to give as much feedback as you like!

The old art was done by a previous artist, all the new Art is done by me and it is my first time at doing Game Art!! I'm pretty proud of the level of quality I've been able to produce!
