App description: Game of The Year 1997-1998 worldwide. The purpose of Quoridor is very simple: to reach first the opposite side of the board. To slow the progress of opponents, players can put fences to make the paths longer.

Quoridor is a game with simple rules, but with a deep playability and great longevity to make endless games.

There are more rules?
The fences once in play cannot be moved.
When he has run out of fences, the player must move his pawn.
The pawns are moved one square at a time and the pawns must get around the fences.

One game lasts about seven minutes, and during the game amazing labyrinths are made on the board.

Quoridor was Game of The Year 1997-1998 worldwide and one of the prizes was the MENSA award given only for mind challenging games.
Last year it also won a Finland prize for the new children version.
A huge community of players is around the world and on some countries there are national challenges!

Looks interesting. Will have to read up on the online stuff and make a decision, but my early feeling is positive. I may pick this up soon.

crap only A.I. support. Two levels and if you've played it a bit it's easy to beat. So unless this gets two player local device support it's a game I won't be playing. I had just assumed it would do two player local that is what I was waiting for. I'd skip this until 2 player is added.

So there is no local multiplayer? I almost picked this up.

says next update will have multiplayer online. Ok that is good but even then I won't be happy unless you can play local two humans. If the idea is this is a demo and to sell more versions of the actual board game then it's a failed idea as it's hard to find in USA and expensive.

Truly one of my favorite games but NOT my favorite at all with A.I. Consider A.I. only to teach you the game. This game is ONLY good when you play another human who has played a few times. I want to take this to the park and play a friend.
