App description: MISSION BRIEF: Four days ago NASA's Spirit rover discovered a growing army of tanks beneath the surface of Mars. Sweet! Thanks. Worked like a charm. I was #4, so plenty left. I'm looking forward to checking it out.

It should be a standard feature that you can turn on/off in-game music and sound effects separately in all games

As the saying goes: It's the least I can do

Just played through the levels up to 2.3, including some of the training missions. So far, so good. It feels like an upgraded version of the old NES game Battle City. It controls nicely, both the tank as well as the weapons. Graphics, sounds, menu are simple -- very fitting for this type of game.

The aiming is still a bit tricky for me, since I'm tempted to aim behind the target. So in corners, my thumb tends to obscure the target. Will get used to that eventually.

I'd definitely love to see WiFi / BT multiplayer for this! My brother and I played Battle City all the time... this screams for some good old search-and-destroy / CTF action.

I'll play a bit more before I write an iTunes review. So far, so good.

Cool, yeah, found forefinger seems to work a bit better than thumbs

Multiplayer functionality is done (bluetooth & wifi); left it out of first version 'cos found the connectivity (establishing and retaining) is a bit unreliable. Here's a slightly outdated screenshot for a rough idea though:
