Gameloft doesn't have a record of doing crummy things like that.

People love to rip on them, but they are very reliable with release dates and delivering games to the whole world (with the exception of the Prince of Persia issue lately).

I for one and EXTREMELY excited about this game. I have been dying to get this on my iPad!!!

On first release, Gameloft did a sloppy job with the graphics and draw distance of the iPhone version. Good thing they improved the draw distance with an update. I do hope this iPad version will have more enhancements. Nevertheless, despite the initial shortcomings, I found the iPhone version surprisingly fun and I spent hours playing and buying as many cars as I can. I'll definitely pick this up when it hits the store a few hours from now. Can't wait to grab and upgrade my favorite cars again.

actually, hey have had alot of issues with game release times, expessually over the last month, game loft made the mistake of advertising their release dates, and it ended up back firing, i remember when people were angry because zombie infection didnt show up on the aposore and was something like 3 or 4 days late, i believe they had the same issue with Splinter cell: conviction. But i agree that they woudnt have a hoax release, i recon it would start a riot if a major company like game loft did that

i love game loft games, and i love how they base games and gameplay on major games like resident evil, CoD, or halo. It gives us a chance to play great games which the major cooperations woudnt have considered it

It's not a hoax, as you can verify right now.

I just checked and it's there, in the New Zealand store.

Go to the NZ store in iTunes and type in Gameloft.

Click on See all for iPad apps, it's the last one on the page.

I am getting a bit more excited, as it's there.
Let's just hope it doesn't get pulled for some small mistake.
