Carlos-Sz's comments:
First impressions: it’s a very cool flick soccer game. Graphics are great (I miss trailing ball effect) and the control is unique: the curve depends on the side of the ball you flick (like in a real game). Replay and next level “drawing” effect are nice touches.

I think we are now officially out of all possible variations of combining the words "flick," "kick," and "soccer/football."

I love these types of games and buy all of them that come out. I also really liked the word game he put out.

I have spent about twenty minutes with this and I am struggling with it. I love the neon look and the goalie is very good. The replays are also fantastic as are the two modes, sudden death and normal. Sudden Death is shoot until you miss and Normal is rack up a high score until you miss five times.

So with so much going for this game I was diasappointed with the actual game play. The swipes don't register very well and many times the ball just slowly crawls toward the goal after swiping it. A faster swipe will sometimes register better but it seems to be hit or miss.

I am playing this on the iPad, so that may be the problem. However, I have all of the other shoot out games and they all work fine. If this is just an iPad issue, I will try it on my touch.

Sounds good. I am hoping this plays better on the iPhone, there are some cool things about it.

It plays very well on the iPhone.

It is interesting to play Academy first (it’s like a tutorial).

I'm not having trouble with swipes registering but the ball physics are just completely wrong. Also sometimes there is a slight delay between swiping and the ball flying off. Agree with you about replays - very nice, but unless the physics here are more or less reworked completely, this is pretty much a non-starter for me. How ironic is that app description...

EDIT: To be more specific:

It is almost impossible to kick the ball straight. The swipe area needs to be wider to allow both more control and greater margin for error.

There seem to be only two ways to kick the ball: really soft, or really hard. Again, the margin needs to be widened to allow varying degrees of power to register for kicking.

The swerve of the ball is ridiculous and unrealistic. It feels as if it's being pulled to the left or right by rubber bands after being kicked. In this case, the margin actually needs to be lessened.
