Current best RPG / Action RPG / or Strategy games?

I've been looking into Palm Heroes.

I've played a ton of 100 Rogues lately, very good game.

I haven't really enjoyed the korean action RPG's much, due to being forced to continually read cheesy korean engrish dialogues.

Any recommendations? I haven't bought a new game for quite a while, looking for some of the gems I've missed out in any of these 3 categories... thanks!

You probably have Ravensword, Chaos Rings and Necromancer Rising, if you don't get them

Also try The Quest and battle for wesnoth.

The Quest has bad graphics and controls but is the best western-style rpg on the appstore.

Battle for Wesnoth is a tbs with characters that level up and offers an absolutely massive amount of replay value for the price.

I've never really understood the Quest, personalyly I hated it. Try Crusade of Destiny, Zenonia 1 and 2, Inotia 1 and 2, Soloman's Keep, Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, etc. These are all very quality games for the price

Couldn't get into the Quest either, what a bore.

Only RPG's I've liked on the iDevice are Chaos Rings, Across Age, and Inotia 2. Across Age is my favorite though, I'd probably buy it if it came out on another platform. The rest I mentioned are okay(for an iPhone game), but would pass if it were re-released.

Undercroft is a little easier to get into/through than The Quest, though both are very good.

Funny -- I've enjoyed Chaos Rings more than pretty much any other recent RPG on any portable platform (and I've played a lot of them). I agree on Across Age, though.
