Can anyone post a solution to 6-14 Twisted Island? Spent hours on it and just seem to be getting in more of a mess! Thanks

Am I really the first to get stuck on these??
Has anyone else managed to crack the solution for Snake levels #28 - Sandbar and #29 - Churl? I'm going nuts over these! Just these two and I'm finished! If anyone wants solutions to Rooster or the other snake ones, I'm happy to give screenshots (once I work out how to do a screen shot of my iphone!) Cheers from Australia! ~Amanda |

Yup, I did. I'm literally only stuck on those two.
The trick is to not use everything. I know I didn't use at least one of the magnetic tiles. If you're still stuck, let me know and I'll re-do it and take a screen-shot for you. Cheers, Amanda |

Here you go. I'm not convinced this is exactly the same way I did it the first time, but it works anyway.

I've gotten #28-Sandbar. The trick is to initially move as symmetrically as possible (in pairs), to not get yourself trapped, and then to remember your mid-air button press. Ideally, one of the magnet blocks should always be on a yellow button, and the other in one of the opposite gates.
I'm having an embarrassingly hard time with #2-A Harsh Ring: I keep being short a - pipe, whether I go up or down. I'm trying to use all the magnets, so perhaps that's my issue. Any tips? I'd also be interested in a clue for one for #29-Churl as I feel like I've exhausted every possibility dozens of times. Edit: Nevermind; I just had a Eureka moment on Churl. My hint is that it's important to always use float-by button presses, and be aware of the difference in the way gates act when dealing with conveyor belts vs manual movement. Still curious about A Harsh Ring, though. Grr. Last edited by f00bar; 01-28-2012 at 12:03 AM.. Reason: Eureka. |
