Unique bubbleshooter for iPad: Dubble (Now FREE)

Dear TouchArcaders!

We are pleased to announce the update of Dubble to version 1.6 (approved by Apple yesterday).

Check out the official trailer in HD on YouTube

Dubble is a one-of-a-kind bubbleshooter: instead of plainly re-creating the wellknown concept, we added an extra touch by simulating the bubbles in a physics engine. This allows for much more dynamic gameplay, never seen in a bubbleshooter before, and greatly appreciated by our users.

This is the "What's New" of version 1.6:
- Improved Puzzle mode: more colors, more challenging!
- Improved Arcade mode: now *really* challenging!
- New Zen mode: relaxing, near-endless Dubble fun!
- iPod support: you can now play your own music while playing
- Screen rotation support
- Overall stability improvements and bug fixes

Dubble is currently on sale ($3.99, usually $5.99), and the iPhone version that is forthcoming will be free to all existing iPad users. So this is the time to fetch your copy.

Have fun, and please let us know how you feel about the game!

Nico, thanks for your feedback!
We decided not to add a background because color is so important to Dubble's gameplay, and we were afraid a colorful background would interfere with gameplay.

What do you think, would this be a problem?

That is very coincidental, we have just updated the AppStore images to be more colorful (no gameplay there so it's safe ).

Funny how you mention it just when we noticed it ourselves too.

As I cannot edit the previous post (or can I?), here is a small version of the new AppStore image:

I have to agree with you here, unless I'm missing something, the stark black background makes distinguishing the colors nice and easy, makes it easier to distinguish which popped bubbles are in the foreground and which are in the background.
